Swerve was founded in 1998 by Pete Fazio, a print designer turned web designer.

Pete has been an innovator in the visual communication/web design field for over 15 years. Originally from Orlando, Pete began his career in New York City before relocating to Rochester, NY.

He has designed in and across all media, from brand development to interactive design. His work appears in a wide range of venues including design publications like Communication Arts, Print and Wired magazines—to the shelves of stores through BIC Pens he’s designed.

Pete serves the Rochester Advertising Federation Board of Directors as their “web guru” and has a beautiful baby girl named Julia. He can also be seen cruising around on his 1990 BMW K75, or running around town training for his next marathon.
